Abstract

The paper discusses the essence of deposits, the originality of deposits, their types and purposes, the advantages of the provisions established by law on improving the volume of services provided by the bank, of the increasing the resource base of the bank, of the increasing liquidity and efficiency of their activities. Moreover, the article presents the statistics of deposit operations for recent years, which clearly show the advantages of deposit operations for both the bank and the customers.
